For Butte College students who are parents of dependent children
We get that while you're working hard to pursue your educational goals, manage bills, work and family — "life" can shift your focus and priorities away from class. “生命” can happen in a lot of different ways.
Whatever your case may be, we have resources to help you. Our goal is to ensure you are successful in pursuing your educational goals.
The Roadrunner Hub is a one-stop shop to help Butte College students meet their
basic needs so they can focus on their educational goals. 服务包括:
- Food pantry with groceries and hygiene items
- Help with CalFresh applications

- Connections to other campus and community resources including mental health resources
CARE (Cooperative Agencies 资源 for Education) is a program offered through
bgi的 (Extended Opportunity Programs and 服务) at Butte College that supports eligible
single parents with additional support and services to attend college and obtain a
degree or marketable job skills.

CalFresh is California's Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) formerly
被称为食品券. CalFresh helps individuals and families purchase the food they
need to live happier, healthier lives. Those who qualify receive monthly financial
assistance via an electronic benefit transfer (EBT) card they can use to purchase
grocery items at most grocery stores and farmer's markets.

This is a tax credit for working people with children who have earned a low to
中等收入. 你可能 be eligible to receive a cash refund or reduce the amount
你欠的税. That's more money in your pocket to pay for things you need. 你可能
qualify for the CalEITC If:
- You're at least 18 years old or have a 合格的孩子

If you qualify for the CalEITC and have a child under the age of 6, you may also

The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
provides supplemental food, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income
pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and

of support services and financial aid to ensure that parents complete their educational
